“The people have stamped their confidence on PM Modi’s policies for the third time.” Union Health Minister JP Nadda declared at the ABP News “Shikhar Sammelan – Bharat Ka Budget. “Under PM Modi, the budget increased the size of the economy and its purchasing power. Gross tax collection was 6.38 lakh crores in UPA regime. In 2024, we grew to 23.37 lakh crores.”

Praising the Government reforms, JP Nadda remarked, "India has reduced fiscal deficit from 6.4% to 5.6%.” He further added “With GST and other policies, we formalized the economy and eliminated parallel economy of black money.”

Highlighting specific measures to strengthen the economy, JP Nadda said, "The budget also promotes solar power, aiming to provide free electricity to households, and boosts infrastructure development, which enhances the economy and employment. Specific attention is given to the eastern region, including packages for Andhra Pradesh and Bihar.

Reflecting on his long political career, Nadda said, "Since becoming a minister in 1993, I've seen significant improvements in transportation and electricity. Under the Saubhagya Yojna, 2.5 crore homes received electricity. The Awas Yojna has built 40 crore houses, with plans for 7 crore more. For farmers, ₹3.24 lakh crore has been disbursed to 11.74 crore farmers, with the latest installment providing ₹2,000 to each farmer.

Nadda concluded by noting reforms for MSMEs and the digitization of the economy, "Reforms for MSMEs, such as the credit guarantee scheme, and the digitization of the economy have made significant impacts. People now prefer bank loans over village moneylenders, with over 50 crore bank accounts created. By 2024, India aims to be the third-largest economy."
