The Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET), NCERT invites applications from eligible candidates for empanelment on a daily wage basis for various media-related positions in its Media Production Division. The selected candidates will receive a remuneration of Rs. 2,500 per day with a maximum of 24 working days per month.
Available Positions:
1. Anchor (Hindi & English)
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any subject from a recognized university/institute.
- Strong command of language, interviewing skills, and multitasking abilities.
- Preference will be given to bilingual candidates (Hindi & English).
Desirable:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in anchoring with a reputed media organization (government or private sector).
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of AI tools.
2. Production Assistant (Video)
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication/Journalism OR Bachelor’s degree in any subject with a Diploma in Mass Communication/Journalism from a recognized university/institute.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in TV production.
Desirable:
- Experience in writing TV scripts and TV program production.
- Proficiency in Hindi & English (written and spoken).
- Knowledge of video editing software.
- Master’s degree in Mass Communication and Journalism.
- Familiarity with AR/VR and AI tools.
3. Production Assistant (Audio)
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a Diploma in Media (Audio-Radio Production).
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in media organizations as a production assistant or higher.
- Proficiency in NUENDO or any other audio recording/editing software.
Desirable:
- Experience in educational audio program production.
- Development and dissemination of media/ICT content.
- Knowledge of AR/VR and AI tools.
4. Graphic Assistant/Artist
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts OR a Bachelor’s degree in any subject with a Diploma in Graphics & Animation.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the field.
Desirable:
- Expertise in 2D/3D animation, motion graphics, and VFX.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Animate.
- Preference for candidates with proficiency in Hindi, English, and other Indian languages (written & spoken).
- Knowledge of AR/VR and AI tools.
5. Video Editor
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication OR a Bachelor’s degree in any subject with a Diploma in Video Editing.
- Strong skills in non-linear video editing and storytelling.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in video editing.
Desirable:
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and After Effects.
- Knowledge of AR/VR and AI tools.
6. Cameraperson
Essential Qualifications:
- Senior Secondary Certificate (12th pass) from a recognized board.
- Diploma/Certificate in Cinematography from a recognized institute.
- Minimum 3 years of experience handling professional video/DSLR cameras in a reputed media house, university, or organization such as Doordarshan, EMPC, CEC, EMMRCs, or RIEs.
Desirable:
- Experience in educational TV program/film production.
- Proficiency in Hindi & English (written & spoken).
- Knowledge of AI tools.
7. Sound Recordist
Essential Qualifications:
- Diploma (3 years) in Electronics/Electronics & Communication OR Degree/Diploma in Sound Engineering/Sound Recording OR B.Tech in Electronics & Communication OR M.Sc. in IT.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a technician or sound recordist in the media industry.
Desirable:
- Working knowledge of software such as NUENDO, Logic Pro, and Pro Tools.
- Proficiency in Hindi & English (written & spoken).
- Knowledge of AI tools.

- Candidates should also present experience certificates, published work, or media projects (videos, graphics, audio, etc.) during the skill test.
