Adam David Wins ‘The Voice’ 2025: The Voice Season 27 crowned its winner on May 20 after a night of amazing performances from the final five contestants:
- Adam David and Jadyn Cree from Team Michael Bublé
- Renzo from Team John Legend
- Jaelen Johnston from Team Kelsea Ballerini
- Lucia Flores-Wiseman from Team Adam Levine
At the end of the live finale, host Carson Daly announced the results:
- Adam David won the season
- Jaelen was the runner-up
- Renzo finished in third
- Lucia came in fourth
- Jadyn placed fifth
This win marks Michael Bublé’s second straight victory as a coach, after winning Season 26 with Sofronio Vasquez.
Adam’s win was especially exciting because he had previously been saved by fans through the “Instant Save” vote — a twist that usually hasn’t worked out for past contestants. In fact, he’s the first winner to come from the Instant Save twist.
Just a week before the finale, the Top 12 were narrowed down to five contestants. Adam wasn’t considered a front-runner then, as he landed in the middle of the results with Olivia Kuper Harris, Iris Herrera, and Bryson Battle — but fans rallied behind him using The Voice app, which helped him make it to the finals.
Another fun fact: Adam is only the third winner in the show’s history who had just one coach turn for him during the blind auditions. The other two were Chris Blue (Season 12, Team Alicia Keys) and Jake Hoot (Season 17, Team Kelly Clarkson).
Right before the confetti dropped, coach Michael Bublé told Adam:
“I love you, man. You’re my kind of artist. Congratulations — I knew you could do it.”
Adam, a 34-year-old from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, performed several songs throughout the season, including:
- “Baby, I Love Your Way”
- “Home”
- “Unaware”
- “I Shall Be Released”
- “Bring It On Home to Me”
- “Hard Fought Hallelujah”
- “You Are So Beautiful”
- “The Weight” (a duet with Michael Bublé)
Adam was also the fan favorite in Gold Derby’s online poll, earning 23.25% of the votes. He was followed by:
- Jadyn (21.8%)
- Renzo (19.44%)
- Lucia (18.98%)
- Jaelen (16.43%)
Coming Next Season:
Michael Bublé will return as a coach in Season 28, alongside Reba McEntire, Niall Horan, and Snoop Dogg. The new season premieres in Fall 2025 on NBC.
