Experience Required:

  • 15–18 years in a senior content and editorial leadership role within a digital news media organization.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking either Kannada or Malayalam is mandatory.
  • Must have managed large editorial teams comprising beat leads, desk leads, language editors, input and output desks, and graphic design teams.

Location:

  • Bangalore (On-site, open for relocation)

Job Description:

  • Develop and execute strategies for text and video content for the Asianet News website and video platforms.
  • Create and implement content strategies for Asianet News social media platforms.
  • Plan and execute content strategies for news and original content.
  • Lead community building and user engagement programs.
  • Drive reach, engagement, and concurrency growth on video platforms.
  • Oversee platform ranking management, content hygiene, and performance optimization.
  • Build a network with key personalities in the news space across languages, regions, and categories.
  • Manage relationships with content creators.
  • Collaborate with news partnership teams at Google, YouTube, Meta, Jio, and other distribution platforms and aggregators.
  • Spearhead news IP creation and execution management.
  • Manage news and original content production.
  • Maintain relationships with leading news agencies such as PTI, ANI, Reuters, APTN, AFP, etc.
  • Oversee internal and external stakeholder management.
